Dallas, TX, Feb. 17, 2017—Pioneer Bible Translators has received Charity Navigator’s highest possible rating of 4 stars for the 7th consecutive year.
“Only 3% of the charities we evaluate have received at least 7 consecutive 4-star evaluations,” says Michael Thatcher, President and CEO of Charity Navigator. “[This indicates] that Pioneer Bible Translators outperforms most other charities in America.”
To achieve a 4-star rating, Pioneer Bible Translators must demonstrate strong financial health and a commitment to accountability and transparency.
“Your gifts are being used as strategically and efficiently as we know how,” says Clint Stringer, Chief Financial Officer. “We strive to be good stewards of the monies entrusted to us to see churches with Scripture in every language group on Earth.”

About Charity Navigator CharityNavigator.org/about
Founded in 2001, Charity Navigator has become the nation’s largest and most-utilized evaluator of charities. In its quest to help donors, its team of professional analysts has examined tens of thousands of non-profit financial documents. Charity Navigator has used this knowledge to develop an unbiased, objective, numbers-based rating system to assess over 8,000 of America’s best-known and some lesser known, but worthy, charities.
Specifically, Charity Navigator’s rating system examines two broad areas of a charity’s performance; their Financial Health and their Accountability & Transparency. Their ratings show givers how efficiently they believe a charity will use their support today, how well it has sustained its programs and services over time and their level of commitment to good governance, best practices and openness with information. Charity Navigator provides these ratings so that charitable givers/social investors can make intelligent giving decisions, and so that the nonprofit sector can improve its performance.
